American University in Dubai signs MoU with Emirati Human Resources Development Council 

The American University in Dubai (AUD) has taken a significant step in advancing the UAE’s digital economy by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Emirati Human Resources Development Council. This initiative, backed by H.E. Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications, aims to equip 5,000 Emirati students with essential digital skills over the next five years. 

This strategic collaboration underscores AUD’s commitment to fostering future leaders in healthcare and innovation. By integrating emerging technologies into its curriculum, the university is ensuring students are well-prepared for the evolving landscape of medical and digital advancements.

Advancing Healthcare Education Through Technology

The launch of the UAE’s first fully immersive virtual reality (VR) laboratory for human anatomy is a testament to the university’s dedication to technological innovation. Additionally, AUD recently partnered with the University of Pennsylvania’s Perelman School of Medicine to establish a new School of Medicine in Dubai, further solidifying its role in shaping a digitally adept healthcare workforce.
