Yuval Mandelbaum, CEO of Discure Technologies, to Speak at MedTech Malta 2024 Following $16 Million Series A Funding Round

Yuval Mandelbaum, CEO of Discure Technologies, has been announced as an esteemed panelist at the upcoming MedTech Malta 2024, scheduled from November 6 to 8. Mandelbaum will share his insights on the panel ‘Israel’s Role in Global MedTech Innovation’, where he will discuss how Israel is shaping the future of medical technology and innovation. This comes at a pivotal moment for his company, Discure Technologies, which recently closed an oversubscribed $16 million Series A funding round.

A Visionary Leader in Healthcare and Innovation

Mandelbaum is dedicated to promoting healthcare and well-being. He brings significant experience to Discure Technologies in business development, strategy, operations, and dealmaking in the medical device and pharmaceutical sectors.

Prior to joining Discure Technologies, Mandelbaum served as Director of Operations at Rainbow Medical, where he was responsible for business development for the group, overseeing portfolio companies’ operations, and managing new medical device projects. Mandelbaum has additionally served in senior positions in business and corporate development at Neopharm Group, where he also spearheaded business development initiatives at LDD Advanced Technologies. He holds an Executive MBA from Tel-Aviv University and a B.Sc.

Series A Round Led by New Investors

The $16 million investment was secured with the backing of prominent investors, including BOLD Capital Partners, Supernova Invest, and Sanara Capital. The new funds will drive Discure Technologies’ mission to develop early-stage treatments for degenerative disc disease (DDD), reducing the need for aggressive surgical procedures. The company’s innovative approach addresses the underlying causes of DDD, offering patients a path to improved outcomes without resorting to invasive interventions.
