Burak Özkösem is founder and CEO of Pera Labs. Founded in 2019, Pera Labs is a company where science meet entrepreneurship to invent smart solutions for difficult health issues such as fertility. Özkösem did his Ph.D. in Experimental Surgery at McGill University in Montreal, Canada and focused on how age affects in men’s fertility. Later, he did his postdoctoral research at Marine Biological Laboratory Cell Imaging Center in Woodshole, Massachusetts in US. He also worked as a lecturer at University of Chicago, as a distinguished H2020- MCSA fellow he did research at Koç University in Turkey, He is a guest lecturer at Drexel University in Philadelphia, US.
