Daniel is a Health Lawyer, Head of the Health Economic Unit and Partner of PRA-Raposo, Sá Miranda & Associados. Based in Portugal, he was also a member of the National Board of Bioethics, to which he was elected by the national parliament. Daniel is the President of the Portuguese Association of Health and Law. Having a degree in Law and an L.LM in Innovation, Technology and the Law by the University of Edinburgh, Daniel has focused his research and professional career in IT and Health Law. In this field, he has been following closely the recent legal developments concerning medical cannabis in Portugal, a country recognized at the forefront of drugs policies and now of medical cannabis policies.
