Stephen is a lecturer within the Faculty of Health Science at the University of Malta and a Fellow at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. Stephen managed to successfully secure a number of awards through the following competitive funding programmes. These include; MITA YouStartIT accelerator programme, TAKEOFF Seed Fund Award), MCST Commercialisation Voucher Programme, and the Technology Voucher Programme. Stephen is also a co-funder of Tarsos Labs aimed at developing innovative technological solutions to improve the health of individuals living with diabetes.
