Livia Ng

Livia Ng (Founder and CEO of Neucruit) worked as one of the first of 8 employees at an early stage biotech with a 2020 IPO that sold 7.5 million shares, raising $127.5 million, per Market Watch. Here Livia learned that the patient recruitment pathway in clinical trials had primarily been unchanged for decades, leading to delays of up to $200,000 per month. In her work, she found that beyond these high monthly costs for retaining hospital sites, preventable delays meant a loss of market opportunity for biotech founders due to the tight time frame of patents. In 2019, she founded Neucruit to fundamentally change the workflow of patient recruitment in clinical trials for founders.
