Yael is a General Partner at CoVelocity focusing on new business development, identifying new lifesaving healthcare technologies and helping them commercialize to global markets. Yael has led global partnerships focusing on the scalable and sustainable commercialization of medtech solutions in health systems globally. Yael started her career in international development, working with a number of international non-profits, including Innovation: Africa, the American Jewish World Service and the Israeli Fund for UNICEF, specializing in the social impact of introducing new technologies to rural communities and low-resource settings. Yael has lived and worked across sub-Saharan Africa, Central America, India, the US and the UK. Yael holds a B.A. from Wellesley College in International Relations and an M.A. (Cumme Laude) from the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) in Herzliya in Government and Diplomacy. Yael lives in London with her husband and two daughters.
