After a sports accident rendering him in a wheelchair for 6 months, Stephen learned of the medical benefits of cannabis after quitting a severe opioid addiction cold turkey after 2 months of consuming 6mg of Dilaudid he was prescribed to take every 4 hours. This prescription was meant to last months and then continue indefinitely with a smaller dosing. Stephen used his finance background and newfound passion for the medical merits of cannabis to serve as the CEO of one of Huxton Black’s cannabis ventures called Hello Cannabis Corp. The company is now involved in 8 different projects across 3 continents after branching out from its original focus of educating physicians, unions, employers, and private corporations on the solutions surrounding medical cannabis programs. Hello Cannabis has now rapidly grown to become one of Canada’s most exciting vertically integrated cannabis companies after opening one of the first legal dispensaries in Canada with over 10 others in the queue for 2021 opening dates.
