On October 1, 2025, MedTech World’s global roadshow series arrives in Singapore with a full-day, invite-only forum at The Westin. Co-hosted with KPMG Singapore, the event will convene around 200 leaders from across hospitals, corporates, regulators, investors, and startups for deep discussions and strategic networking.
“ASEAN and India are the next great frontier for MedTech innovation — and Singapore is the hub that connects these diverse markets. With MedTech World Singapore 2025, we are creating a bridge between global innovators and local ecosystems, helping companies navigate complexity and unlock transformative opportunities. This is more than an event; it’s a platform to shape the future of healthcare in the region.”

“Singapore continues to stand out as a gateway to the wider ASEAN region. This conference isn’t just about access; it’s about alignment. We’re bringing together the people who influence decisions, allocate budgets, and move innovation from idea to implementation across Southeast Asia.”

The forum opens with welcome remarks from and Akhil Bheda (Director, KPMG Singapore) and Dr. Dylan Attard (CEO, MedTech World), framing Singapore as a global convergence point for MedTech innovation.
Kristin Pothier (Global Head Life Sciences, KPMG US) and Peter Liddell (APAC Life Sciences Sector Leader, KPMG Singapore) will explore key trends, challenges, and investment opportunities in the regional Healthcare and Life Sciences (HCLS) sector. They will also present KPMG’s latest Thought Leadership report, offering strategic, data-driven insights for industry stakeholders.
Industry leaders including Sumit Punwani (Partner – Corporate Finance, KPMG Singapore), Irwan Djaja (CEO and Partner, KPMG Indonesia), Luke Treolar (Partner and Head DA, KPMG Vietnam), Ashish Gulati (Partner and Head Corporate Finance, KPMG India), and Kazuhisa Go (Senior Advisor HCLS, KPMG Japan) will discuss opportunities and challenges in scaling MedTech across ASEAN and Asia-Pacific.
The startup showcases will put the spotlight on some of the most promising early-stage MedTech companies from across Asia and beyond. These innovators will present their technologies directly to an audience of investors, corporates, and healthcare leaders, offering a glimpse into the next wave of solutions addressing unmet clinical needs. From digital health platforms to medical devices and diagnostics, the pitches will highlight how young companies are rethinking care delivery and tackling pressing health challenges.

Beyond exposure, the showcases are designed to spark conversations that can lead to funding, partnerships, and pilot opportunities — giving startups a launchpad to scale across ASEAN and India.
A panel of corporate and health system leaders will share insights on what it takes to move MedTech solutions from pilot stage to widespread adoption, with lessons learned from across APAC markets.
The Investor View will feature insights from prominent investors on MedTech funding trends in ASEAN compared to global markets. Dr. Amit Varma (Quadria Capital) will join fellow leading investors to share what they look for in startups seeking to scale across Asia, and how these criteria align with or differ from other regions worldwide.
This will be followed by a discussion on MedTech manufacturing partnerships in Asia featuring:
Kadambari Beelwar, leading US-headquartered Truss Health, brings firsthand insights into leveraging Asia for manufacturing. She will share her experience in evaluating high-quality, competitive manufacturing options and explain why her company chose Asia despite challenges such as tariffs and regulatory complexities.
The closing session, Why Singapore Works — Building from a Regional Launchpad, will highlight the city-state’s ecosystem advantages, from regulatory clarity to clinical research infrastructure, positioning it as a strategic hub for MedTech growth.
MedTech World Singapore 2025 is a focused platform bringing together key stakeholders who shape MedTech commercialization. With global names, startup showcases, and strategic discussions, the forum offers clarity on how to scale across ASEAN and India.
