How do I participate in the Pitching Competition?

All startup pass holders are automatically considered for the MedTech World Pitching Competition. Our team will review every startup pass applicant, and the top 10 companies selected by MedTech World will be invited to pitch live on stage during the summit. No additional application is required — simply secure your Startup Pass and you’ll be in the running.

What are the benefits of the 'StartUp Pass'?

The Startup Pass is designed to give early-stage innovators maximum exposure and access at MedTech World. With this pass, founders receive full access to the summit, networking opportunities, and investor-focused programming — including automatic entry for consideration in our Pitching Competition. Startup pass holders also benefit from direct engagement opportunities with investors, corporates, and industry leaders, helping accelerate partnerships, visibility, and growth within the global MedTech ecosystem.

How long will I get on stage if I’m selected?

Selected startups will receive 3 minutes to pitch followed by 3 minutes of Q&A with our judging panel. This fast-paced format is designed to showcase your solution clearly, highlight your traction, and engage directly with investors and experts.

When is the Startup Pitching Competition?

The Startup Pitch will take place on Wednesday, 7th May 2027. As one of the key highlights of the afternoon program, this session will spotlight the most promising emerging MedTech innovators in front of investors, industry leaders, and media — making it a prime moment for visibility and momentum.

How else can I present on stage?

Beyond the Pitching Competition, startups can secure a dedicated Presenting Slot, which guarantees stage time and enhanced visibility. This option includes a 6-minute presentation on one of our main stages, a feature across MedTech World media channels, and a recorded conference interview to further amplify your story. It’s an ideal route for founders who want assured exposure and a more in-depth opportunity to present their technology, vision, and traction to investors and industry leaders. MedTech USA Pitch

The MedTech USA Startup Pitch is a platform for medical technology startups to showcase their innovative products, services, and solutions to a panel of judges and potential investors. This shall provide a unique opportunity for entrepreneurs to gain exposure, receive feedback, and secure funding for their ventures. The event attracts a diverse audience of industry experts, healthcare professionals, investors, and entrepreneurs from around the world. The competition is highly competitive, and the judges evaluate each pitch based on its novelty, feasibility, market potential, and overall impact on healthcare.
