Nominations for the first-ever MedTech World Asia Awards, taking place at MedTech World Asia 2026 in Hong Kong from 26–28 August, close on 24 July 2026, and once that window shuts, it’s shut. If you’ve been meaning to put your name forward, or nominate a colleague, a founder, or a team whose work deserves recognition, this is the moment to act.
Progress in healthcare often happens in the unglamorous, day-to-day grind of building better diagnostics, scaling a startup, refining a clinical trial, or pushing a hospital system to work smarter for patients. The MedTech World Awards 2026 | Asia, powered by Blue Goat Cyber, exists to bring that work into the spotlight and put it in front of the people who matter most: a global network of healthcare providers, regulators, investors, and industry leaders.

With 21 categories, there’s a home for almost every corner of the MedTech ecosystem — from MedTech Startup of the Year and AI-Driven Healthcare Innovation of the Year to FemTech Product of the Year, Most Impactful Woman Leader of the Year, and the career-spanning Lifetime Achievement Award. Startups, scale-ups, hospital systems, investors, regulatory consultancies, CROs, and individual leaders are all in scope, so if you’re unsure whether your work qualifies, chances are it does.

Once submissions close, the MedTech World jury reviews every entry and selects the strongest candidates in each category. From there, it moves to a public vote, giving the wider healthcare and MedTech community a direct say in who takes home the recognition. It’s a two-step process designed to balance expert judgement with community voice, so every winner reflects both credibility and genuine industry support.
Awards Night on 26 August isn’t only about trophies. The evening opens with a Pre-Awards Reception powered by CS Lifesciences, before moving into the Gala Dinner, sponsored by Blue Goat Cyber. It’s also home to MedTech World’s signature charitable auction, one of the most anticipated parts of the evening, and this year, it’s coming to Asia for the first time.
Three original artwork pieces from international artists will go under the hammer on the awards floor, with guests bidding live for a cause that reaches far beyond the ballroom.
Every single piece sold funds the work of the SiGMA Foundation, the philanthropic arm of SiGMA Group and an initiative MedTech World is especially proud to support. The Foundation currently runs active projects in eight countries around the world, and 100% of auction proceeds go directly into that work — from building medical facilities and funding surgeries, to delivering essential care to communities that need it most.
One current project brings that mission to life: the establishment of an X-ray diagnostic facility in Puerto Barrios, Guatemala, a community that has long gone without access to even basic medical imaging. Funds raised at the Asia auction will help close exactly this kind of critical gap in local healthcare infrastructure, turning one bid, one artwork, into real, tangible care on the ground.
