This November, MedTech World Europe goes beyond the conference. Five days. Two islands. One week redefining what a MedTech event can be.

From November 9–13, 2026, more than 2,000 industry leaders, startups, investors, healthcare executives, and policymakers will gather across Malta and Gozo for an immersive experience designed to foster meaningful connections and drive innovation. The experience begins in Gozo with the inaugural MedTech World Investors Retreat, a three-day programme dedicated to executive networking, strategic conversations, and curated Mediterranean experiences. Attendees will sail the Maltese waters aboard a 5-star mega yacht, explore the historic Citadella, enjoy exclusive winery dinners, take part in racket sports activities, and join workshops led by leaders in MedTech, healthcare, and investment. Away from traditional conference settings, this is where meaningful conversations begin, relationships are strengthened, and opportunities for collaboration take shape

Meet Up and Departure

Participants are kindly requested to meet in the lobby of the Excelsior Hotel at the designated departure time. From there, group transportation will be arranged to Mġarr Harbour, where we will board the ferry to Gozo. Sit back and enjoy the scenic crossing as we make our way to Malta’s sister island for 3 days of exploration, networking, and unique experiences.

Explore the highlights of Gozo on a scenic Jeep Tour, featuring visits to the island’s iconic salt pans, historic landmarks, charming villages, and beautiful churches. Discover Gozo’s rich heritage, stunning landscapes, and unique Mediterranean character along the way.

Lunch

Enjoy a leisurely networking lunch while connecting with fellow attendees and taking in the unique atmosphere of Gozo.

Welcome Reception and Hotel Check in

Check in, unpack, and explore the retreat before heading off to some leisurely activities.

Ahead of MedTech World, unwind with an exclusive retreat in Gozo, designed to help you relax and recharge before the main event. Enjoy spa treatments, massages, and dedicated time to slow down and reset in a calm and welcoming environment. This pre-event experience also offers the opportunity to connect with fellow guests in an informal setting, allowing relationships to form naturally as you ease into the days ahead.

Jeep pick up from the hotel to Mgarr where attendees will enjoy the traditional Maltese lunch full of flavors.

Relaxing and Leisure Time At The Hotel

Unwind with spa treatments, massages, or beachside relaxation before heading off to dinner. Guests are also invited to enjoy some leisure time at their own pace, taking the opportunity to rest, refresh, and make the most of the calm surroundings before the evening programme.

Enjoy a dinner in a relaxed and elegant setting, offering a curated dining experience and a pleasant close to the day.

Departure From The Hotel

Check out the hotel at 10.30. Jeeps will depart from the hotel to Jetty. Attendees will be back to Mgarr port Malta by 12.15.

12:15 – 12:30

Meet Up For The Forums – Hotel Excelsior

All the attendees are kindly requested to please gather at hotel excelsior by 12.30 to join the respective Forums.
