Europe’s largest telehealth company HealthHero snaps up Qare

HealthHero acquires Qare, cementing it’s position as Europe’s largest telehealth company

The London-based telehealth start-up HealthHero has acquired Qare, a Parisian medical video consultation firm, for an undisclosed sum. The move has strengthen HealthHero’s position as one of the largest telehealth providers in Europe.
The acquisition forms part of the company’s expansion strategy across Europe – the largest telehealth market globally. HealthHero offers its with direct-to-consumer, business-to-business and business-to-government services to the UK, Germany, the Republic of Ireland and France.
Founded in 2016, Qare has pioneered telehealth in France by infusing traditional medical practices with digital innovation. Following it’s acquisition of Doctopsy in 2020, Qare became France’s leading provider of digital mental healthcare.
HealthHero’s CEO and co-founder Ranjan Singh shared his excitement towards the acquisition stating:

While we now provide 3 million consultations a year – the most any company will have achieved in Europe – with up to 70-80% of all GP consultations across Europe able to be delivered remotely, this is just the beginning of HealthHero’s growth potential. Qare CEO Olivier Thierry said in a statement referring to the acquisition:
