Malcolm Paul Agius Galea, a family doctor, has worked in several hospitals in Malta, including St. Luke’s Hospital and Mater Dei Hospital, where he contributed to the nationwide hospital transition in 2007. He later served at the Paola Health Centre. In 2024, he was appointed Parliamentary Secretary for Active Aging within the Ministry of Health in Malta.

 

Dr. Asma Mahmoud Fikri

Dr Asma Mahmoud Fikri is a Drug Discovery Scientist (PhD) with a subspecialty in genomics, metabolomics and biomarkers discovery. She is the Director of Government and Corporate Partnerships at Sharjah Research Technology and Innovation Park. Dr Fikri is an R&D expert with extensive experience in many sectors including healthcare, wellbeing, advanced technology, and whole-of-government. Dr Fikri was leading strategy, policy and research at the Ministry of Health & Prevention, the Abu Dhabi Executive Office, and internationally as a consultant with the WHO. She is a member of the Royal Society of Biology, a fellow of the Higher Education Academy in the UK and a UAE National Experts Program Alumni.

Dr. Sven Jansen

Dr. Jansen holds a Ph.D. in medical biochemistry from Harvard Medical School. Reenita Das is a healthcare futurist and strategist, passionate about changing the healthcare industry. She got voted the top 100 women in Femtech and Healthtech and the top 50 Healthcare strategists to follow in 2021. She has lived and worked in over 10 countries in the world, focusing on healthcare issues and working with public and private sector to implement growth change strategies. Das currently serves as Partner and Senior Vice President and is the first woman Partner at Frost & Sullivan. In addition, she is the Founder of GLOW (Growth and Innovation of Women) program. She is also on the Board of a non profit “High Tech High Heels” Silicon Valley that focuses on increasing gender diversity for STEM. She is also part of the Advisory Board in Arab Health. In her current role, Das manages a global business and works largely with clients on futuristic scenarios and forecasts in understanding how healthcare will operate 20 years from today. Dr. Khulood Alsayegh, MD, is an accomplished healthcare leader and regulatory advisor, Head of Clinical Standards and Guidelines with Dubai Health Authority, a non- resident fellow researcher with Mohamed Bin Rashid School of Governance and consultant Family Physician. Qualified at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and Harvard Medical school, Boston. She has 20 years of clinical experience in the United States, Europe, the GCC and the United Arab Emirates. Pioneer in Telehealth and AI ethics, certified as the first ethical Lead Assessor in healthcare within the Middle East and Africa, by IEEE. Participated as a speaker in multiple local and international conferences. Sahir Ali
