When MedTech World Asia 2026 opens its doors at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) from 26 to 28 August, attendees will gather to explore the latest in healthcare innovation. Among the event’s highlights is the Company Showcase, where selected MedTech companies will present their solutions to an audience of investors, clinicians, healthcare leaders, and industry experts.
Each company has only a few minutes to demonstrate the clinical need they are addressing, the technology behind their innovation, and the growth opportunity. For founders, it is a chance to secure valuable partnerships and investment. For attendees, it gives a curated look at technologies with the potential to improve healthcare delivery around the world.
A diverse line-up of innovation
This year’s showcase reflects the breadth of today’s MedTech ecosystem, spanning cardiology, transplant medicine, diagnostics, sleep health, cell engineering, ophthalmology, patient care, and robotics.
Sparrow BioAcoustics is developing AI-powered software that turns smartphones into cardiac screening tools. Its regulated Software-as-a-Medical-Device platform analyses heart sounds captured during routine clinical visits, helping identify cardiovascular disease earlier without requiring additional hardware.
Vascular Perfusion Solutions is addressing one of transplant medicine’s biggest challenges. Its portable cardiac perfusion system, VP.S ENCORE®, is designed to extend donor heart viability to up to eight hours, potentially increasing the number of hearts that can successfully reach transplant recipients.
Cimple Biotechnology is bringing laboratory-quality diagnostics closer to patients. Its chip-based platform delivers quantitative results for multiple biomarkers from a single sample in around 20 minutes, with analysis completed using a smartphone.
Belun Technology is tackling the widespread underdiagnosis of sleep apnea. Its FDA 510(k)-cleared Belun Sleep System combines a wearable ring with AI-powered analytics to diagnose and monitor obstructive sleep apnea, reducing waiting times while supporting long-term patient management.
ANRim Biotech is advancing cell engineering through nanotechnology. Its nanoneedle biochip platform supports applications including CAR-T therapy development and precision medicine, with technology protected by an extensive patent portfolio.
LUMAT-SERS is making highly sensitive molecular detection more accessible through Surface-Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy (SERS). Originally developed for research laboratories, the technology is being adapted into practical, cost-effective diagnostic solutions.
Nasella focuses on improving everyday patient care. Its Nasera™ feeding tube securement device reduces mechanical stress and protects tissue during treatment, demonstrating how practical innovation can improve patient safety.
EyeMed Technologies is enhancing cataract surgery outcomes with VaLens, a foldable intraocular lens that can be adjusted after implantation. The technology allows clinicians to fine-tune vision following surgery, addressing one of the procedure’s longstanding limitations.
UBTECH Robotics brings a different perspective to the showcase. Known for its humanoid robots, the company is expanding into healthcare with robotic solutions designed to support hospitals, care facilities, and elderly care services as workforce demands continue to grow.
Company showcase: A stage that opens many opportunities
From earlier diagnosis of cardiovascular disease and improved organ preservation to smarter diagnostics, precision medicine, surgical innovation, and healthcare robotics, the Company Showcase brings together technologies tackling challenges across the care continuum.
Over two days at MedTech World Asia 2026, these companies will present to an audience uniquely positioned to help accelerate their growth. Some are solving large-scale healthcare challenges, while others are improving specific aspects of patient care that often go unnoticed. For many of these companies, the showcase is an opportunity to support market entry, build distribution partnerships, and increase visibility among investors, healthcare providers, and strategic industry partners. Together, they represent the diversity, ambition, and practical innovation driving today’s global MedTech industry.
For attendees, the Company Showcase extends more than a glimpse of new technologies. It provides a front-row seat to the conversations, partnerships, and ideas that could influence the next generation of healthcare innovation.
