Nate Harrington

Managing Partner, Philips Ventures, Philips Healthcare

Nate Harrington joined Philips in 2011 and is a Managing Partner at Philips Corporate Ventures, responsible for its Image Guided Therapy (IGT) investments.  He currently serves on over a half dozen of the portfolio’s boards; previous director positions include Corindus Vascular Robotics (CVRS) and Affera.  He also oversees several LP relationships for Philips’ ‘fund-of-funds’ investing.
Prior to moving to Philips Ventures in 2021, Nate was the Head of Business Development for the IGT cluster following the acquisition of Volcano. He oversaw acquisitions of Spectranetics, Cardioprolific, EPD, Vesper Medical and led investments in various start-ups currently in Philips CVC portfolio.
Prior to Philips, Nate worked nearly a decade at Boston Scientific Corporation (BSX) where he held various roles in both product management for Peripheral Interventions division and business development for the Cardiac Rhythm & Vascular group.  Before BSC Nate spent 6 years in management consulting, including 3 years at Heath Advances focused on evaluating the commercial potential of emerging medical technology ranging from biotech and diagnostics to medical devices.
Nate received his MBA from the Yale School of Management and his BA from Brown University.

Chris Japp

Partner at Tramway Ventures

Chris is a former C-suite executive with over 35 years of global experience in medtech. He has held top leadership roles at large multinational corporations as well as multiple board positions, and is well versed in early-stage company development. Chris is currently a Managing Partner at Tramway Ventures, a New-Mexico based VC focused on medtech, biotech, and health tech innovation investments in the southwest. Chris is based in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Dr. Gary Gershony

Founding General Partner at BayMed Venture Partners

Dr. Gershony is an internationally recognized interventional cardiologist and serial MedTech entrepreneur. He was the Founder of Vascular Solutions, helped lead a successful IPO in 2000, and served as the company’s Chief Medical Officer and Board member. He subsequently co-founded AngioScore which developed novel angioplasty scoring balloons and served as Chief Medical Office and Board member until its acquisition in 2014. Dr. Gershony is a Founding General Partner at BayMed Venture Partners which is based in San Francisco. He currently serves on the boards of multiple medical device companies and is a frequent speaker at investor conferences

Kristen Mittal

Co-founder & CEO at Mittal Consulting

Kristen Mittal, Co-founder & CEO of Mittal Consulting, holds biomedical engineering degrees and is RAC and PMP certified. As the Co-founder of Mittal Consulting, she guides medical device startups from concept to commercialization, specializing in regulatory strategy, submissions and working with complex medical devices which often goes through FDA DeNovo or Breakthrough pathways. Kristen partners with leading medtech incubators and universities, shaping future innovators through education and hands-on regulatory expertise.

Christian Espinosa founded Blue Goat Cyber and is a global leader in medical device cybersecurity. With 30+ years of experience, he empowers manufacturers to achieve FDA, EU MDR, and international compliance while safeguarding patient safety. A bestselling author and Ironman triathlete, Christian blends expertise and determination to tackle complex cybersecurity challenges.

Mridul Mittal

Mridul is the Co-Founder of Mittal Consulting, bringing deep expertise in client relations, business development, and company strategy. Eric C. Ulchaker, MS, MFin

Eric C. Ulchaker is Managing Partner at SSVP, a healthcare-focused investor network. Rich Wilmot

Rich is a parter at Gilde, a growth stage transatlantic healthtech investor. Prior to Gilde, Rich was the Global Head of Ventures at Philips, where he was responsible for creating, launching and running the venture program.  Rich began the venture phase of his career at Mass General Brigham where he was a member of the Partners Innovation Fund.  

Soyoung Park

Soyoung is a visionary leader who aims to keep people healthy through transformative longevity technologies and healthcare infrastructures. During 15+ years of extensive experience in entrepreneurship and investment, Soyoung has invested in 20+ emerging life sciences companies and contributed to the exits of 3 companies through acquisitions.
She also serves as a mentor and speaker for numerous reputable global accelerators and life science conferences, sharing her wealth of knowledge and experience with the next generation of leaders.
