On Thursday, deepc announced the closure of its Series A extension round, securing an additional $13 million and bringing its total funding to $30 million. This new funding will, among other things, accelerate the global deployment of their healthcare AI solutions.

The Full Picture
On Thursday, deepc, known for its top-tier AI operating system for radiologists and clinical organisations, revealed that it has closed its Series A extension round with an additional $13 million. This latest round brings deepc’s total funding to $30 million.
The investment was co-led by Sofinnova Partners and Bertelsmann Investments, with new contributions from KHP Ventures and SwissHealth Ventures, as well as continued support from Winning Mindset Ventures.
Today, deepc’s platform is utilised by prominent institutions such as Solothurn Hospital in Switzerland, the Vivantes Hospital Group and LMU University Hospital in Germany, CHU Brugmann in Belgium, and the National Health Service (NHS) in England.
In the press release issued on Thursday by Sofinnova Partners, Dr. Franz Pfister, CEO and Co-Founder of deepc, outlined the company’s mission:

Dr. Pfister praised the deepc platform for its ability to rapidly and effectively integrate top AI technologies, enhancing diagnosis speed and accuracy while improving patient outcomes. He also welcomed the new investors, SwissHealth Ventures and KHP Ventures, noting that their contributions, alongside those of existing investors, will significantly bolster deepc’s international expansion and further platform development.
Simon Turner, Partner at Sofinnova Partners, highlighted how the new capital infusion into AI underscores the critical role of enabling technologies in advancing healthcare adoption. He noted that these technologies are central to Sofinnova’s Digital Medicine strategy and remain a domain with significant untapped potential.
