Malta remains at the forefront of Medical Cannabis through regulation that specifically targets this and helps people who suffer from debilitating conditions who can visit one of the doctors approved by the Malta Medical Council, to acquire a prescription for medicinal preparations of cannabis. It has essentially become the Medical Cannabis Capital of Europe something that should be celebrated, applauded and built upon. Whilst already well established globally within both the growing and processing of cannabis for medical purposes, the potential for growth remains. The Malta Medicines Authority remains pivotal in ensuring appropriate regulation and monitoring with full transparency and dedication as a result Malta remains a prime location for cannabis-focussed investors.
