Dutch Startup STENTiT Secures Top Spot and First Entry into 2025 MedTech Innovator Accelerator
On April 29, MedTech Innovator, in collaboration with the MedTech Strategist Innovation Summit, hosted its highly anticipated International Pitch Event in Dublin. ConnCons, Fada Medical, Galenband, and STENTiT were selected as finalists during Monday’s judging session at the Guinness Storehouse, chosen from over 1,400 global applicants.
The four startups pitched live to an audience of investors, corporate executives, and industry leaders at the Innovation Summit. STENTiT emerged as the winner, securing the highest vote count during the final session. With this win, STENTiT becomes the first company selected for the 2025 MedTech Innovator Accelerator — the world’s largest nonprofit accelerator for medical device, diagnostic, and digital health startups.
The judging panel included Virginia Giddings, Professor Stefan Schraag, and Anne Sissel, CFA.
Pioneering Vascular Regeneration with Bioresorbable Technology
Headquartered in the Netherlands, STENTiT is advancing a new class of regenerative stents designed to promote natural vascular healing. Unlike traditional metallic implants, STENTiT’s bioresorbable and regenerative devices work by restoring the vessel wall through in situ tissue regeneration. This novel approach has the potential to transform how clinicians treat vascular diseases, particularly in patients with peripheral artery disease.
Their pitch in Dublin, led by the CEO and Founder Bart Sanders, emphasized both the scientific strength and the clinical promise of their solution.
Accelerating Toward Global Stages
With this win, STENTiT becomes the first company selected for the 2025 MedTech Innovator Accelerator, a four-month program designed to support the most promising MedTech startups worldwide. The accelerator offers tailored mentorship from top-tier industry executives, direct access to strategic investors and corporate partners, and exposure at the sector’s most influential events. It also boasts a strong track record of helping startups reach regulatory and commercial milestones.
Their accelerator journey will begin at the MedTech Innovator Summit in Mountain View, California, this June — a private, closed-door event featuring selected startups, investors, and corporate partners. Later this year, STENTiT will also be featured at The MedTech Conference in San Diego, one of the industry’s leading global gatherings.

Following their international win, STENTiT will be among 100 selected startups showcasing at MedTech World Bay Area on June 27th 2025, joining a vibrant community of entrepreneurs, investors, and industry leaders.
