UniDoc Acquires AGNES Connect® Software from AMD Telemedicine
UniDoc, a leading innovator in the eHealth sector, has successfully acquired the AGNES Connect software from AMD Telemedicine. This strategic acquisition accelerates the expansion and enhancement of UniDoc’s Neil Connect software platform, which is built on the foundation of AGNES Connect®. The integration provides UniDoc with immediate access to AGNES Connect®’s existing customer base, while also expanding the company’s presence in the telehealth market. Additionally, the acquisition bolsters UniDoc’s AI-driven telehealth offering by enhancing secure data-sharing capabilities and integration with electronic medical records (EMRs).
AGNES Connect® is a secure, cloud-based clinical examination platform recognized for its advanced telemedicine functionalities. The software enables real-time data exchange, video conferencing, and medical image sharing, ensuring seamless remote patient consultations. It is widely used in various healthcare settings, offering easy integration with electronic health record (EHR) systems to improve workflow efficiency and documentation.
With this acquisition, UniDoc has also secured the rights to the AMD Telemedicine name, intellectual property, and customer subscriptions. These assets provide UniDoc with a strong foundation for further market expansion and innovation in virtual healthcare solutions.
