Med-In Pharma returns this November as part of MedTech Malta 2025, inviting members of the scientific community to contribute cutting-edge research and ideas to one of the most anticipated gatherings in the medical and healthcare innovation calendar.
Organised in collaboration with the Laparoscopic and Endoscopic Society of Malta (LESM), the scientific programme will run from 12 to 14 November 2025 at the Mediterranean Conference Centre in Malta. Researchers, clinicians, academics, and innovators are encouraged to submit abstracts on innovative techniques, medical devices, and future trends across medicine, surgery, pharmacy, dentistry, and applied sciences.

Abstracts accepted by the Med-In Pharma scientific committee may be presented as posters on the exhibition floor during MedTech Malta 2025, MedTech World’s flagship CPD-accredited event. Submissions of outstanding quality may also be selected for oral communications.
Authors of accepted abstracts must ensure presentation by one of the listed contributors, who must also be registered for MedTech Malta 2025.
Abstracts must not exceed 300 words and should be prepared in Times New Roman, 12-point font, single-spaced, justified text. The structure should include:
Tables and figures are not permitted. Abbreviations should be used sparingly and defined on first mention. Drug products mentioned in the abstract should be identified by their non-proprietary names only. Authors are responsible for linguistic accuracy, and any conflicts of interest must be declared.

Alongside the scientific programme, Med-In Pharma, an initiative by the Malta Medicines Authority (MMA), will feature once again at MedTech Malta 2025, curating an engaging programme across both afternoons of the main event. These sessions will showcase the MMA’s ongoing work, with discussions ranging from the dynamics of Malta’s medical device industry to comparative insights with European and global markets.
The agenda will also explore the evolving collaboration between the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors, as well as highlight other pressing developments shaping healthcare innovation.
The Malta Medicines Authority (MMA) is Malta’s national regulatory body overseeing the safety, quality, and efficacy of medicines and medical devices. By maintaining high standards of evaluation, monitoring, and regulation, the MMA safeguards public health while also contributing to international regulatory frameworks.
