The goal was clear when Nesicon designed INSIGHT: to harness the burgeoning power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for a more effective way of protecting personal data in enterprise networks. Real-Time Cybersecurity Without Human Supervision

Behind INSIGHT’s new approach to cybersecurity was the realization that existing cybersecurity methodologies were trying to solve the problem of data security indirectly – by analyzing everything about a network except data itself. These commonly used Gen 2 cybersecurity tools analyze network behavior to identify anomalies and estimate risks by mathematical, statistical and simulation modelling. In contrast, Nesicon’s INSIGHT can be considered Gen 4, engineered to directly identify data misuse in a network by decoding data, both static and in transit, at the datum level. It classifies and notifies the type of misuse and, if necessary, stops it. If the misuse is in the form of a sudden event of unauthorized data encryption, or an event of data exfiltration, INSIGHT ‘sees’ the changing status of the data in real time and, depending on its severity, can block it while it forms.
