The wait is over: MedTech Malta 2025 begins today! Before the main conference kicks off tomorrow, attendees are invited to experience the island’s charm, connect with fellow innovators, and ease into what promises to be an inspiring week of ideas, partnerships, and conversations influencing the MedTech industry. 

Morning: Discover Malta through a cultural lens 

In partnership with VisitMalta, the morning begins with two cultural tours, each offering a glimpse into Malta’s rich heritage and timeless beauty. 

Valletta Cultural Tour 

Time: 09:00 – 13:00  

Meeting Point: Grand Hotel Excelsior Lobby 

Premium and Platinum ticket holders can look forward to exploring Valletta’s historic streets, starting with a dhajsa boat ride across the Grand Harbour. The tour will also include stops at the breathtaking St. John’s Co-Cathedral and a scenic view from the Upper Barrakka Lift. 

Comfortable shoes are a must for attendees eager to experience Malta’s rich mix of history, architecture, and culture. 

Mdina Cultural Tour 

Time: 09:00 – 13:00  

Meeting Point: Grand Hotel Excelsior Lobby 

For those drawn to the quieter side of Malta, the Mdina tour offers a serene journey through “The Silent City.” Explore St. Paul’s Cathedral, stroll through the lush San Anton Gardens, and take in the stunning vistas from Dingli Cliffs. 

Both tours promise an authentic Maltese experience before the conference formally begins, setting the tone for a week where innovation meets culture. 

Midday: Dive into Malta’s innovation ecosystem 

From 11:00 to 13:00, selected participants will take part in the MDIA DiHubMT x Digital Innovation Hub Tour, organized with the Malta Digital Innovation Authority (MDIA) and Digital Innovation Hub (DiHubMT). 

This behind-the-scenes visit offers an inside look at Malta’s expanding innovation ecosystem, where AI, digital health, and MedTech are transforming how technology serves patients and professionals alike. 

Ideal for CEOs and Founders, this guided experience highlights collaboration opportunities, research partnerships, and regulatory support frameworks designed to help MedTech ventures grow on the island. 

Afternoon: Exclusive forums for leaders across MedTech 

Starting from 14:30 to 18:00 at the Grand Hotel Excelsior, three invite-only forums will provide focused, high-level discussions tailored to different roles within the MedTech ecosystem.
