Cohort Announced: MedTech Innovator’s 2025 Startups to Present at MedTech World Bay Area, June 26–27
MedTech Innovator, the world’s largest accelerator for medical technology companies, has officially announced its 2025 Accelerator Cohort. This year’s selection features 65 pioneering startups chosen from over 1,400 global applicants—highlighting the program’s growing influence and dedication to advancing patient care.
Dr. Dylan Attard, CEO and Cofounder of MedTech World, shared his enthusiasm ahead of the June showcase:
“We are incredibly excited to welcome the MedTech Innovator 2025 cohort and our global network of investors to MedTech World Bay Area. The level of innovation coming through this year’s cohort is inspiring, and we’re proud to provide a platform that fosters the connections and conversations that help turn ideas into real-world impact. We look forward to championing these teams as they work to improve care for patients everywhere.”
The spotlight moment? June 26–27 in San Jose, these startups will take the stage at MedTech World Bay Area, California, showcasing their innovations directly to top global investors, industry leaders, and key stakeholders in healthcare.
A Diverse Cohort Driving Healthcare Innovation
The 2025 MedTech Innovator cohort spans a broad spectrum of healthcare challenges—ranging from cardiovascular interventions and diagnostics to neurology, regenerative medicine, orthopedics, and FemTech. Representing global innovation, these startups hail from across the U.S., Europe, and beyond.
Andrew Ortega-Verdaguer, Founder & CEO of IntelVasc, one of the selected companies, said:
“We are incredibly honored to join the MedTech Innovator 2025 cohort—the most competitive program in our industry. This milestone is a strong validation of the urgent clinical need we’re tackling: enabling remote monitoring for patients with chronic peripheral arterial disease to allow for timely interventions that can save limbs—and lives.
As we move into this next phase, our primary goal is to refine our regulatory and reimbursement strategies while continuously evolving our value proposition to best serve both clinicians and patients. We’re truly excited to collaborate with industry leaders, investors, and fellow innovators in this outstanding community to bring our vision to life.”
Georgi Kadrev, Co-founder & CEO of Kelvin Health, also commented:
“Excited to share that Kelvin Health is among the top 4% of medical device startups across all venture stages that have just been selected to join the super competitive 2025 cohort of MedTech Innovator US market access program! We are the first ever Bulgarian (and to the best of our knowledge also the only Eastern European) company, and among the very few European startups selected to deepen their knowledge, network, and access in order to positively impact the US healthcare system in the 10+ years since the inception of MTI.
It was our third try to enter the most successful life sciences accelerator in the world, and we appreciate the trust that is put into us this time. It’s a huge testimonial to our team’s relentless commitment to advance the standard of vascular care!
Looking forward to the upcoming virtual and live events and sessions in the following four months, and the kick-offs at the Innovator Summit and MedTech World Bay Area investor in end of this month.”
