Judging and public voting

To keep the Awards Gala fair, consistent, and transparent, we use a dual selection process. The Steering Committee conducts an expert, criteria based evaluation for each category, and public voting captures the community’s voice. Both perspectives are reviewed together to determine the final winner for every nomination.

The MedTech World Awards Gala will take place on Wednesday, the 11th of February 2026, starting from 7:30 PM onwards. The venue for the ceremony is at Al Baraha Ballroom | Dubai InterContinental Festival City.
Anyone working in the emerging tech industry can nominate a company, project, or person in one of the listed categories. Deadline to nominate is by the January 22, 2026, and deadline to vote is the February 6, 2026.

The MedTech World Awards Gala will feature live entertainment, a three-course gala dinner, and unparalleled high-quality networking with leaders from across the MedTech World ecosystem.
The Awards Gala has a formal gala dress code. Attendees are expected to dress elegantly in formal attire. This typically includes black tie or evening gowns for women and tuxedos or suits for men. The dress code adds to the overall sophistication and glamour of the event, creating a memorable atmosphere.
Access to the MedTech World Awards Gala is included in the Platinum pass or through a sponsored table of guests.
The final decision is based on a combined score: 70% public voting and 30% judges’ evaluation. This ensures that both community support and expert insight play a role in selecting the winner.
Attendance is not a requirement for nomination or winning a MedTech World Award. Our awards programme recognises excellence across the global MedTech and HealthTech community regardless of physical presence. That said, the Awards Night is a celebration of everyone in the room and those joining us in West Palm Beach will naturally be at the heart of it. We do our best to involve and spotlight attending nominees and winners throughout the evening, making it a truly memorable moment for those who are there.
