For the ninth time, and seventh year running, Houston Methodist Hospital has earned a place on U.S. News & World Report’s prestigious Honor Roll, distinguishing it as one of the best hospitals in the nation. The flagship academic medical center was also ranked the No. 1 hospital in Texas for the 14th consecutive year, reaffirming its longstanding leadership in patient care, research, and innovation.

But it’s not just the central hospital making headlines. A number of Houston Methodist’s entity hospitals also made impressive gains in the 2025–2026 U.S. News & World Report state and metro rankings, showing the system’s strength across the Greater Houston region.

Homer Quintana, Director at Houston Methodist’s Center for Rapid Device Translation, said, “By prioritizing patients in everything we do and fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration with innovative technologies, we can generate meaningful evidence more efficiently, accelerating the delivery of life-saving innovations to those who need them most.”
