This year’s edition marked a major turning point. Taking the main stage during his keynote, Dr. Dylan Attard, CEO of MedTech World, revealed the organisation’s plans to expand further into the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. In his keynote, he shared how MedTech World is evolving from hosting one flagship event to four in 2026, marking a bold step toward reaching every healthcare innovator around the world.
“In 2026, we’re ready to take things to the next level,” said Dr. Attard during his keynote.
“After an incredible journey in the Middle East over the past four years, we’re returning to Dubai with bigger ambitions and stronger partnerships. Our 2025 edition, supported by the Dubai Health Authority and Emirates Health Services, marked a major milestone and set the stage for what’s next. We’re humbled by the trust placed in us and excited for the journey ahead.”
The GCC has quickly become a hub for healthcare innovation. With strong government support, state-of-the-art infrastructure, and a growing appetite for digital transformation, the region offers immense potential for MedTech World’s mission of connecting innovators, investors, and regulators to advance global healthcare.
Of the four flagship events planned for 2026, the series will begin with MedTech World Dubai, taking place from 11 to 13 February 2026 at the Intercontinental Festival City Hotel, Dubai Festival City. Following the success of its inaugural edition in 2025, the event will return on an even larger scale with curated investor–startup meetings, expanded networking opportunities, and thought-provoking discussions on regulation, capital, and innovation in the region.
