MedTech World London: Lindus Health Co-Founder joins elite speaker lineup
MedTech World is thrilled to announce that Meri Beckwith, Co-Founder of Lindus Health, will be joining us as both a speaker and pitch competitor at the upcoming MedTech World Roadshow in London on May 29th.
Lindus Health has been shaking things up with their groundbreaking “All-in-One Diagnostics CRO”, a cutting-edge contract research organisation (CRO) tailored for sponsors eager to launch diagnostic products.
Meri Beckwith: Innovating from personal experience
Get ready to be inspired by Meri Beckwith, one of the visionary co-founders of Lindus Health, taking the stage at our upcoming event. With a background working closely with healthtech and biotech startups, Beckwith’s journey was fueled by frustration with the slow pace of clinical research. After experiencing a clinical trial firsthand, he was driven to revolutionise the process for both sponsors and patients. Lindus Health emerged as a next-generation CRO, pioneering faster and more reliable clinical trials.
As a Co-Founder and Board Member at Lindus Health, Beckwith brings a wealth of experience from his time as a Venture Partner at OMERS Ventures and an Investment Manager at Oxford Capital Partners. His passion for supporting biotech and digital health companies shines through his role as an angel investor. Not content with just being an investor, Beckwith actively participated in COVID-19 vaccine trials as a volunteer, gaining valuable insights into how patient-focused approaches can enhance trial outcomes.
Beckwith holds a BS in Biological Sciences from the University of Oxford, along with degrees from Ampleforth College and Aiglon College. With Beckwith at the forefront, Lindus Health is redefining the future of clinical research, and his insights are sure to leave a lasting impact on our audience.
Transforming clinical trials
Lindus Health continues to make waves in the clinical trial arena, solidifying their position as industry leaders.
Their recent study, published in MedRxiv, sheds light on the factors influencing clinical trial participation among ethnic minorities. Partnering with the University of Oxford, Lindus conducted a qualitative study, gathering insights from both research professionals and the general population through meticulously crafted eSurveys.
In April, Lindus unveiled their groundbreaking “All-in-One Diagnostics CRO,” tailored for sponsors venturing into diagnostic product markets. This innovative offering integrates expert CRO services with Lindus’ vast experience in diagnostic clinical trials, augmented by their repository of over 30 million electronic health records (EHRs) and their proprietary eClinical platform, Citrus™. This all-inclusive solution streamlines research processes and addresses recruitment and data management challenges for large-scale studies.
Adding to their impressive lineup, Lindus welcomed Dr. Tim Garnett, former Chief Medical Officer at Eli Lilly, to their advisory board. Garnett joins esteemed advisor Dr. Robert Langer, co-founder of Moderna, Inc., and Institute Professor at MIT. Lindus Health’s commitment to excellence and innovation is evident in their continued efforts to advance clinical research and improve healthcare outcomes.
