Josep has more than 15 years of experience as VC, first co-founding Ysios Capital in 2008 and more recently founding Asabys Partners in 2018 which is managing close to € 300 Mio in health innovation investments. He has specialized in life sciences and healthtech investments in Europe, Israel and the US with more than 10 investments and Boards in the space and some successful exits. Previously he has had a hybrid career in law and finance in the pharma and healthcare world working for Cuatrecasas, KPMG, DomusVi and Almirall. Josep has a Law Degree from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, a Master of Laws from University of Michigan and an MBA from IESE Business School.

Austin is a multifaceted health tech specialist with expertise as an investor, medtech startup founder, medical device engineer, and clinical fellow. With experience in both Europe and North America, Austin has worked with and invested in health technologies companies across 17 countries. He holds a degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Victoria

Marion Zammit heads the Investment Promotion Department within Malta Enterprise, Malta’s economic development corporation. She holds a First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Malta, and a Masters Degree in Business Administration (Distinction) from the same University. Marion’s career has included various positions in the advanced manufacturing sector, including quality, production processing, as well as logistics and supply chain. Marion has worked and gained extensive experience in the Pharmaceutical Sector, having worked both in manufacturing, as well as, sales and marketing, wherein she devoted over a decade of her career. At Malta Enterprise, Marion has supported various sectors including Medical Cannabis, Pharma, and other projects of national interest. In June 2021, Marion has been assigned the lead of the Investment Promotion Unit, hence a more prominent role in Malta’s FDI Strategy and its implementation. Marion has been invited to various International Conferences as a Speaker and has contributed to articles and interviews in various renown publications.

Pablo is a former pharma executive and entrepreneur turned investor with CG Health Ventures, investing in early stage medtech and healthtech globally. Its portfolio spans from diagnostics to medical devices and software, and includes over 17 active investments with a strong focus in the USA.
